Satellite Camp
Anyone interested in attending this years Blair Atholl Satellite Camp 23rd to 26th July? BEAVER LEADER REQUIRED
Due to increased workload, Michelle has unfortunately decided to leave the colony, all in the group wish her well and future success in her work. This means that we will need to recruit a new Beaver Leader. If any member or family friend knows of anyone aged 18yrs or over, who likes kids aged 6yrs to 8yrs and is available on a Tuesday night, tell them to contact Davie asap. Meanwhile, Zoe will continue in her role as Young Leader assisted by Chelsea and Caitlin as well as parent helper, Diane. There is a possibility that Davie will move down to Beavers in the interim until we can get a new leader. Oh the joys!! Watch out beavers, the big bad wolf is coming..... World Jamboree 2011
As many will be aware, we have 4 representatives from the Group that will be attending next years World Jamboree in Sweden. They are Chelsea, Leah, Courtney and Russell. It has been put back to individual groups to support these attending in their fundraising events. Total cost for each individual is in the region of £2000 to attend this event. Over the next 18 months I have given assurances to all participating that we at the 5th will endeavour to assist them in meeting their target and represent our group at the biggest event in the scouting calendar. I hope I have the support of all in the group and families and friends in assisting these individuals to achieve their target and enjoy what will be the highlight of their scouting lifes.
